I didn’t use to give a whole lot of weight to the alignment of planets, and to astrology, in general. But a newer friend of mine wanted to do my birth chart so I gave her my birth place, date, and time. She did a really interesting video for me, and I’d say that most of it is spot-on. The traits do describe me well, or if not now, they did at one time in my life so far, or they appear to be doing so for future.
This is her interpretation of the placement of the planets and other celestial bodies in my chart. Wherever I was unclear of the meaning, or wanted further clarification, I researched this online myself to fill in some of the blanks. Whenever I’ve quoted her verbatim from her video, I used quotation marks.
Pay special attention to the 11th house because several of my planets, and the sun, are aligned there.

To get your own chart and interpretation, let me know and I will pass on her info. She will give you a “friends” discount through me. Readings are 60-75 minutes and she does a video recording. You’re allowed to ask her questions.
If you want to just take a peek your chart for free, but with a fixed interpretation, go to AstroSeek’s Astrological Natal Chart creator and plug in your own birth chart data. When the chart comes up, scroll down for an interpretation of the results. However this really isn’t a good reading as there are so many more layers to it that just where the celestial bodies are aligned.

The Interpretation of This Chart
Sun Sign
Your sun sign is Virgo. Your sun shows up in the 11th house on the cusp of Libra and Virgo.
This pairing indicates hard work. “You’re a worker bee for sure.” Virgos are also critical and perfectionists. They see the world through a lens of logic and hard work. They like to serve others. And to serve people better, they continually perfect and hone their crafts. They love to make things–to cook for people, make useful things, and develop things that make other people’s lives easier. The downside of Virgos is that they can be hypercritical and they tend to be over-planners who have a hard time being spontaneous. They can also take the perfectionism too far.
Ascendant
The Ascendant, or “rising sign,” is your chart ruler, and how you present yourself to the world. Your ruler is Pluto because your Ascendant is Scorpio (and Pluto rules Scorpio).
“Scorpio will be the filter through which the Virgo sun shines through.” The strongest traits of women with a Scorpio ascendant are: ambition, intuition, imagination, intensity, and sensuality. They are drawn to intense people, situations, and environments. You seek drama on some level, whether you like it or not, and whether you acknowledge it or not. You just simply have an innate drive to transform. This is also a very psychic combination. With the ability to hone in on the truth, you just know things you really should not. Scorpio is a water sign, but it’s a DEEP water sign. “Think of still waters” (versus a rushing river or turbulent sea).
“This ascendant has courage and bravery but in a different way than Aries (which is a warrior). They are inwardly focused, and it takes courage to go that deeply inward. You are likely comfortable with the uncomfortable.”
The downside to this combination is that you may have a tough exterior. You possibly come across as intimidating.
5th House
The 5th house is traditionally ruled by Leo, which indicates self-expression and creativity. Saturn in your 5th house is the ruler of time, structure, rules. Saturn is the disciplinarian, or “the mean uncle, or Old Father Time, who is a taskmaster and demands you work hard for everything you receive.” This pairing, although potentially a hard one, is actually a favorable one because it helps you muster the energy to do the things you don’t want to do, but need to do, in order to achieve your goals. Paired with the 5th house ruler Leo, this indicates that your art or craft or self-expression is something you really have to work on. It isn’t something that necessarily comes super easy to you. You have to work hard and really practice at it. “Saturn in this house is the tortoise in “The Tortoise and the Hare.” It’ll get there eventually, at a long, slow, steady pace. A lot of musicians have Saturn in the 5th house.
9th House
Your 9th house indicates a propensity toward spirituality, knowledge and education, and the pursuit of higher meaning. Mars in the 9th house is the spiritual warrior of the signs and houses. “God likes to kick Mars 9th-housers off the cosmic diving board.” They are adventurers–outward in the world through travel and inwardly in spirit. This pairing also indicates an ability to ponder your place in the Universe and trying to find your meaning and purpose through your many experiences and explorations. You likely have a greater than average intuition. Through deep meditation, people with Mars in their 9th house can become deeply spiritual and hone a highly intuitive craft, such as psychic abilities.
“Jupiter in your 9th house actually supports Mars here. Whereas Mars wants you to be brave and jump off the diving board into new experiences, Jupiter in the 9th house indicates favorable outcomes, such as luck and manifestation so they are a very positive pairing.” It also indicates that you find fulfillment and growth in experiences inside and outside of your comfort zone. Jupiter is the cool uncle, who is like Santa Claus, lavishing gifts on you.
Moon in the 10th house
Your moon resides in the 10th house which is ruled by Libra. The moon represents your feelings, dreams, and your emotional self. Its placement here also indicates that you are sensitive to visual arts. Aesthetics and beauty are both important to you.
The downside is that you have a tendency to be a people pleaser. Sometimes this is good (peacemaking) but sometimes you give to much of yourself simply to keep the peace and please someone else. “There is a tendency toward codependency.”
The Moon in Libra also indicates your home is your sanctuary. People with the Moon in their 10th house highly benefit from spending time in meditation. This doesn’t necessarily mean dropping into a deep meditative state, but it could just mean things like taking walks, spending time alone thinking, or keeping a journal of your thoughts.
11th house
You have a super-cluster in the 11th house. A ton of your planets, plus your sun, are jammed into this house. The 11th house is in Virgo. And Virgo is ruled by Mercury, which indicates a very strong ability to communicate whether speaking or writing.
The 11th house is not a lonely house. It’s the house of connections. “Your tribe.” Even though other aspects of your chart indicate a real propensity toward individuality, and you are not a “joiner,” you do tend to find the most success within the right tribe of people when you form alliances with other individuals. Find your mentor and be a mentor.
The 11th house is also the house of the future and of goals. Setting goals for the future is more important for you than other signs and houses. You don’t succeed just meandering or taking a lackadaisical stance in life. Goal setting is how you learn, grow, blossom.
The 11th house is ruled by Aquarius which is forward thinking, humanitarian, sometimes detached, attracted to technology. A good way to think about the 11th house Aquarians: “they want to save the world but don’t necessarily need to know all the people they are saving.” They can be a little aloof or detached. They are not a joiner. They aren’t members of big groups or organizations. “They will never find comfort in conformity. If the world is a stage, they project totally outward behind the scenes, instead of wanting the energy and attention to be focused on themselves.”
With a large stack of planets in the 11th house, that typically indicates a person who is a “late bloomer.” With this pairing, success often happens later in life. The things you will be remembered for won’t happen until the last half or third of your life. But when it happens, it is likely going to be “very profound.”
Uranus in your 11th house (remember, that is your “tribe”) means you have really eclectic friends and acquaintances. “Uranus is all over the board and has silly, mischievous energy. Uranians love originality and uniqueness, so they are attracted to unique ideas, unique individuals, and unique tribes of people. You’re not afraid to shake things up a little bit.”
Pluto in the 11th house indicates a wound, a trauma, typically within your “tribe”–friendships or relationships. This can indicate a profound distrust of groups or individuals. It could be why you have eclectic friendships but can also indicate a complete break from traditional group dynamics in favor of smaller groups or individuals.
With Pluto and Mercury both in your 11th house (your tribe), your destiny is that you “not only seek knowledge and truths, but you have an inherent need to actually promote them.” You want other people to have knowledge and can’t keep knowledge to yourself.
North and South Nodes
The North Node is considered the “head of the dragon” while the South Node is considered the “tail of the dragon.”
Think of the North Node as “the North Star–the direction you should be going in.” It is “the point of destiny you continue to follow throughout your life.” Your North node sits beautifully opposite your South Node and sits in Scorpio which is ruled by Taurus, which is the sign of real estate, wealth, agriculture.
That combo is “steady and simple.” It’s about finding stable, comfortable, and practical partnerships. It’s about taking people at face value and stop making excuses for them. You need to see that people are exactly who they show you they are. “Some people in your life are wonderful and you shouldn’t look for what’s wrong with them.” When someone does something nice for you, stop being suspicious. Then there are other people who are just shitty people and you shouldn’t give them a pass. If a person presents as an asshole or self-absorbed, believe them, and stop trying to look for the sliver of goodness in them.
The South Node represents your past areas of your life that you have worked through and likely “don’t need to work on anymore.” Think of it as the beginning of your journey to your destiny.
Your South Node is in your 9th house which is the house of spirituality, knowledge and education, and the pursuit of higher meaning. When paired together, it indicates self-actualization, awareness, and higher consciousness. One example of South Node in the 9th house is that it could possibly represent that you once had an issue with a house of faith, or a spiritual leader, or a mentor–a difficult relationship that damaged your sense of self, possibly controlling and confusing at the time–but that you’ve worked your way through that in your early life, and are now focused more on yourself and others. It’s easy for an individual to “act out their South Nodes” early in life until they’ve processed it and moved on toward a healthier inner peace.
Mars
If you want to know about what kind of relationships are good for a sign, you should look for a person’s Mars placement. Your Mars is in Leo (the 1st house) which means that you do well with someone who can get along with an eclectic range of people, someone who is creative, and someone who “has dignity–someone who is funny, but not a class clown.”
A Tarot Card
In addition to interpreting my birth chart, she also pulled three tarot cards. Only one of them really resonated in any way.
3 of Pentacles
“There isn’t a card that’s more Virgo than this card. It represents diligence and work, as well as spiritual development and finding the divine through labor. (So Virgo!) It also represents teamwork–relying on a team to achieve your goals rather than lone-wolfing it. (This is so 11th house!)”
