Gluten

I’ve typically stayed away from heavy doses of gluten for the last 5 years or so. I just feel better without it. However, I’m doing intermittent fasting right now, and in the 6 house a day that I can eat, I’m allowed to eat anything.

Also, somewhat related, in a bizarre way, I’m also giving up sugar and social media for Lent which started a week ago. And now that I have some extra time, not eating any sugar, and fasting for a large portion of the day, I decided that I could eat more carbs if I made it myself. (Nothing processed.) So, I decided to experiment making my own bread. (I haven’t made any bread for at least 5-6 years.) I also love to make homemade pasta, so I also spent a lot of time doing that.

I’m giving a bunch to my brother and his family. Here are just some photos of some of the stuff I’ve made in the last week.
